By Car

From the A30, take the A391 to St Austell. Turn left onto the A390 and then right at the roundabout onto the A3082 to Par & Fowey. From the Plymouth direction, take the A38 towards Bodmin and turn off at Dobwalls onto the A390. After passing through Lostwithiel, take the left turn on the B3269 to Fowey. Car parking will be signposted on entry to Fowey.

Fowey is an ancient harbour town built on a hill, as a result the roads in Fowey are narrow and steep with many steps and little in the way of pavements.

Although Fowey offers plenty of parking it is limited in the centre of the town and you are advised to make use of one of the car parks around the town.

On approaching Fowey by car you will see signs to the Bodinnick Ferry. Follow these and park at Caffa Mill car park. The town is a fairly level walk with some inclines approximately 10 minutes from here.

Main Car Park, Hanson Drive, Fowey. PL23 1ET – suitable for cars and coaches. 269 spaces. Situated on a hill above the town about a five minute walk down to the town – a little longer up!

Readymoney Car Park, Fowey. PL23 1JD – suitable for cars, 60 spaces.  Close to the beach and coastal footpath. About a ten to fifteen minute walk.

Why not consider lift sharing and share the cost of travel and parking?

Blue Badge and vehicle licence exempt holders (disabled) are entitled to 3 hours free parking. Blue Badge holders need to display their badge and a time clock.
